“Coming in, the base was destroyed - trees down, trash everywhere, it was just destruction,” said Tech. Sgt. Raymond Oliver, 23rd Civil Engineering Squadron water and fuels system maintenance lead, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. “I was working and Tech. Sgt. James Mosher came up behind me, he tried to take my leather-man out of my pouch and I turned around. I was like, ‘Oh my god! I haven’t seen you in years!’ It was pretty cool. We went to tech school and seven-level school together, and he became an instructor and now we’re both here.”
“We’ve run into each other four times in our 19 years in the Air Force,” said Tech. Sgt. James Mosher, 4th Civil Engineer Squadron water and fuels systems maintenance technician lead, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. “It has been great to work alongside an old friend. We have discussed career plans and are on track to put on master sergeant and eventually share a retirement date.”
