SOUTHWEST ASIA – Soldiers with Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment, 65th Field Artillery Brigade, Task Force Spartan, qualified with their M4 assault rifles on July 9, 2018. The qualification on their weapons helps support the Soldiers’ ability to remain mission ready at all times. The Soldiers of Bravo Battery are High Mobility Artillery Rocket System crews and fire control specialists that have been previously deployed to support fire missions in both Iraq and Afghanistan. So, maintaining their standards is high priority in case they are needed in a specific theater like Afghanistan or support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
