Chaplain (Brig. Gen.) Robert Pleczkowki, deputy chief of chaplains at the U.S. Army Reserve Office of the Chief of Chaplains in Washington, D.C., gave a presentation during the Memorial Day Prayer Luncheon on May 24, 2018, at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The event was organized by the Fort McCoy Religious Support Office. The luncheon featured music, prayers, and Pleczkowki as guest speaker.
Memorial Day is officially observed the last Monday in May and honors the men and women who have died during their military service.
Fort McCoy has supported America’s armed forces since 1909. The installation’s motto is to be the “Total Force Training Center.” The post’s varied terrain, state-of-the-art ranges, new as well as renovated facilities, and extensive support infrastructure combine to provide military personnel with an environment in which to develop and sustain the skills necessary for mission success.
