“The main crews here are electrical, plumbing and structures,” said Jeff D. Steder, 126th operations management craftsman. “But all crews are able to check off many of the Career Field Education Training Plan (CFETP) training tasks.”
These tasks Include certain tool usage, establishing material needs, and maintaining equipment.
“Electrical has been running wire and setting boxes,” said Steder, “while structures has had plenty to do with the drywall and mud.”
Each of these major tasks are broken down into core tasks to make sure each Airman is getting the hands on experience they need to move closer to completing their next skill level.
“Plumbing has being pipe fitting, which includes measuring, cutting, reaming, threading and soldering,” said Steder.
The IRT program is a way for Active, Guard, and Reserve Service Members, as well as our multinational partners, to integrate as a joint and whole-of-society team to serve American citizens.
