Powidz, Poland- The 184th Sustainment Command Mississippi National Guard is gearing up to participate in NATO’s Saber Strike 18 exercise that will be held June 3-15 at training areas in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.
Saber Strike 18 is designed to enhance readiness and interoperability among allies and regional partners. Approximately 18,000 participants from 19 different countries will participate in the long-standing U.S. Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise spread across the four countries.
This year's participating nations include: Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as NATO.
The 184th SC will have over 200 soldiers from Mississippi participating in Saber Strike with the mission of providing sustainment for the U. S. and it’s NATO allied partners in the Saber Strike 18 area of operations. The Mississippi National Guard one-star command will even have a Polish Logistics Brigade in its support structure for this event to help build the international relationship.
