In her civilian life, Wallace works in access control at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, where she monitors and enforces regulations at the entry points of the military base.
She said that her experience in the military was integral to her civilian career development, stressing that her discipline and professionalism greatly increased with her time in service.

“My advice to anyone thinking about doing the boards is, do it,” said Wallace. “It’s healthy competition that pushes you out of your comfort zone, and builds confidence.”
