Military history association donates to families of deployed at Horsham AGS

HORSHAM AIR GUARD STATION, Pa. – The North Whales Borough Parks and Recreation Military Living History Association, based in Hatboro, Pa., dropped off items donated during the collection campaign held at their historical tour event, A Soldier’s Christmas, to help the families of deployed service members Dec. 12, 2017, at Horsham Air Guard Station, Pa. The donation exhibits the continued support of State military members by local civilian organizations here despite the operational closure of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove Sept. 15, 2011. The donations consisted of items ranging from hygiene to snack foods and will be accepted by Horsham AGS's 501(c)(3) associate.
