    U.S. Army Central

CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – The 61st Adjutant General of the Army, Brig. Gen. Robert W. Bennett Jr., and the Adjutant General Directorate Sergeant Major, Sgt. Maj. Raymond Rodriguez, visited the human resources companies of U.S. Army Central, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Dec. 01, 2017.
Bennett, who serves as the Executive Director of the Military Postal Service Agency, spent time at the Joint Military Mail Terminal as well as both post office locations on Camp Arifjan to observe and discuss postal operations.
“What resources do you need? Let’s take the successful processes that are in place, combined with what you need to do your job better … we will roll those up and improve operations overall,” said Bennett to a group of Soldiers at the JMMT.
Capt. Annette Spaulding, Director of the JMMT, 408th Human Resources Company, Fort Totten, New York, gave Bennett and Rodriguez a tour of the facility and explained the package handling process to include X-ray and canine assets.
“Fox 5 or Fox 4 (Additional Skill Identifiers for Postal Operations or Postal Supervisor) are becoming lost commodities, you should hold your head high about being human resources specialists with Fox 5 or Fox 4,” said Rodriguez, as he addressed enlisted soldiers at the JMMT.
The official party also toured the 49th Theater Gateway where service members process when entering or leaving the theater of operations.
“Just to have the opportunity to meet the adjutant general is rare,” said Maj. Jamel Hudson, 350th Human Resources Company commander. “For AG professionals, it is great to have TAG in the field to see how doctrine and reality merge, and to address concerns.”
