The Air Force Honor Guard marched in the Veterans Day Parade and opening wreath laying ceremony in New York City Nov. 11, 2017.
The honor guard placed wreaths for each branch of the military at the foot of the Eternal Light Flagstaff Monument in Madison Square Park following a speech by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Retired Air Force colonel and astronaut Buzz Aldrin was in attendance as the honored guest.
The 47 Airmen then marched down Fifth Avenue, performing precise drill movements, along with thousands of other participants.
The parade was the culmination of a weeklong trip to the city in recognition of Veterans Day.
