“First Sergeant Dillon is the epitome of what the diamond stands for,” said Command Sgt. Maj. Jennifer Taylor, 35th TTSB, senior enlisted advisor. “She’s a provider, the backbone, the disciplinarian, the wise counsel and everything we need in a leader for our successes and our failures. She demanded hard work and training from all of her Soldiers and accepted nothing less, and like a true mama bear she gleamed with pride at all her Soldiers accomplishments. You are value added and you will always have a seat at my table”

During her opening remarks Taylor also stated, “First Sergeant Shuler welcome to the team, you are no stranger to the Lion Brigade and your leadership, presence and genuine care for the Soldiers made you the absolute right choice to be the next first sergeant for this great company. The team before you represents the best this country has to offer, take care of them like they’re your own, because now they are your own.”

During her entry speech Shuler stated, “I would like to thank Colonel O’Connor and Sergeant Major Taylor for being the first sergeant of HHC, I am extremely proud to be the first sergeant of HHC, I will strive to be the shining example of what a leader should be Hammer 7 signing in.”
