Story by Lt. Col. Lekesha Hance

    Military Intelligence Readiness Command

LTG Luckey shared his intent and vision for the Army Reserve as a capable, combat-ready, lethal federal reserve Force. He highlighted the importance of readiness, emphasizing the current threat environment demands that Army Reserve units are capable of deploying quickly with less reliance upon post-mobilization training. LTG Luckey focused on what it means to be lethal, spiritually fit, and physically fit. He took the moment to thank Mayor Charlie Pecaro, Highwood, IL and Mayor Nancy Rodkin Rotering, Highland Park, IL, along with local first responders. Later, LTG Luckey personally met with instructors of the NC ARISC where he learned how the unit has a global reach. In the last 6 months, the All-Source Section sent SFC Rebecca Schaefer to Japan to conduct training; and the Counterintelligence Section sent SSG(P) Felix Torres to Munich, Germany on a Foundry Live Environment Training event. LTG Luckey took the opportunity to meet with the Soldiers of the 337th Military Intelligence Battalion (Theater Support), Detachment 3, 3100 Strategic Intelligence Group, National Security Agency/Central Security Service -Georgia Detachment and analysts of the U.S. Transportation Command J2 Federate Intelligence Program. BG John Hussey, Commander, 75th Great Lakes Training Division and Fort Sheridan Installation Commander, commended the NC ARISC as the best unit on the installation and thanked the NC ARISC for exemplifying a high degree of protocol for LTG Luckey.
