The Air Force’s highest ranking enlisted leader witnessed firsthand Team Osan’s “Fight Tonight” capability during his visit, June 7.
Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright toured Osan Air Base, meeting the Airmen who guard the freedom of 51 million people every day.
After the base tour, the 18th CMSAF held an all-call on the flightline, discussing Air Force current events and the importance of resiliency and training. He also answered Airmen’s questions related to professional military education, resource conservation, cross-training and promotions.
“This is a team sport,” said Wright. “You don’t get to be the greatest Air Force in the world without being team players. I think if we can implement that attitude and mentality across all the units here at Team Osan, we will continue to be successful.”
Though Wright hit on a variety of topics, ultimately, he visited Osan to say thanks.
“I appreciate everything that all of you are doing,” said Wright. “Yes, you are doing this for the 51 million people on this peninsula, but you’re also doing this for America. I owe it to you to come here to tell you face-to-face, thank you.”
