    Nominating reason for selection:

Chief Master Sgt. Sarah Esparza, the 49th Force Support Squadron superintendent, selected Airman 1st Class Allison S. Block because she has provided customer service for 339 Airmen and processed 31 reenlistment and extension contracts which enabled $392,000 in Critical Skills Retention Bonus and Selective Reenlistment Bonus payouts. She tackled the clean-up of back-logged products and distributed 183 Career Job Reservation notifications across the wing. Her maturity, drive for knowledge and ability to learn quickly, proved that she is a vital asset to the team. She was selected as the alternate program manager for enlisted and officer promotions, which is uncommon for a brand new Airman in this career field. Block has also passed three Career Development Course pretests with an average score of 95 percent. She has contributed four hours to the Meals on Wheels program, distributing food to 12 members of the Alamogordo community and recently served as a judge for the Holloman Elementary School science fair.
