U.S. Army Europe welcomes Latvian Delegates

WIESBADEN, Germany— Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, commander, U.S. Army Europe, hosted Maj. Gen. Leonids Kalnins, Latvian Chief of Defense; Hon. Raimonds Bergmanis, Latvian Minister of Defense and Nancy Pettit, the U.S. Ambassador to Latvia, Mar. 16-17.

The two-day visit focused on the reaffirmation of the U.S. Army Europe-Latvia relationship; security operations; regional security in the Baltics and Latvian troops participating in Exercise Allied Spirit VI.
