JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va.--The Langley African American Heritage committee hosted a luncheon in observance of National African-American History Month, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Feb. 21, 2017.
This year’s national theme was “The Crisis in Black Education.”
The, National African-American History Month honors important men and women in our country's history who've fought against inequality and injustice. The event featured a spoken word, dance and speech by Dr. Christopher L. Spells, Sr. Harvest Land Ministries International senior and founding pastor.
