    Medical Readiness Command, Pacific

(WASHINGTON) -- Regional Health Command-Pacific’s (RHC-P) global health engagement team recently participated in the Association of Military Surgeons United States’ (AMSUS) 125th annual meeting. Lt. Col. Derek Licina, chief, global health engagements and Brad Cogswell, Deputy Chief, global health engagements offered a presentation and displayed a poster titled “Army Medicine Transformation in the Pacific: Enhancing Theater Security Cooperation While Generating Readiness”. The material described the policies and procedures the team used to improve the quantity and quality of global health engagements used in the Pacific region.

The information generated interest among attendees from all service branches as a way to standardize global health efforts, approaches and standard operating procedures for future global health engagements.
