Team Minot received influenza vaccination as part of a 5th Medical Group point-of-distribution exercise at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Oct. 13-14, 2016. The 5th Medical Group conducted the exercise to provide adequate vaccinations in case of a mass-epidemic virus was ever contracted here. More than 1,400 high-risk personnel, to include pregnant women, anyone over the age of 65 and immunocompromised patients, were administered the vaccination first.
