Ten Soldiers made up the field for the 347th Regional Support Group’s Best Warrior Competition at Camp Ripley Training Center from Oct. 14 to 16, 2016. During the 3-day event, competitors underwent a rigorous training schedule that included, land navigation, weapons qualification, a written essay, road march and formal board. The competition was held to determine the brigade’s Soldier of the Year and NCO of the Year, both of whom will compete in the State Best Warrior Competition next spring.
