MIHAIL KOGALNICEANU AIR BASE, Romania - United States Army Europe Commander, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, National Guard Bureau Chief, Gen. Frank Grass, and Alabama National Guard Adjutant, Maj. Gen. Perry Smith, visited 16th Sustainment Brigade troops on Thanksgiving here, showing their support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
The Knightâs Brigade has Soldiers deployed to Romania supporting our NATO Allies for periods of two weeks to nine months.
Hodges spoke of Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Soldiers working together on our U.S. commitment to the Alliance.
