SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - The 310th, 710th and 919th Security Forces Squadrons held an intense two-week field training exercise at Camp Guernsey, Wyoming, Aug. 4-15, 2015.
The exercise scenario focused on counter-insurgency, unconventional warfare while simulating being deployed to a hostile foreign country.
During the two weeks of training, the airmen interacted with the local merchants, village elders and militants on a daily basis, while living in a primitive village constructed of large steel shipping containers.
The 710th SFS is out of Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, the 310th SFS is out of Schriever AFB, and the 919th SFS is out of Duke Field, Florida.
