TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. - Marines volunteered to assist the Palm Springs Bureau of Land Management and National Environmental Education Foundation, to clean and maintain trails in Big Morongo Canyon Preserve in Morongo Valley, Calif., on National Public Lands Day, Sept. 26, 2015.
National Public Lands Day encourages volunteers to improve public lands nation-wide. More than 20 Combat Center Marines from Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School volunteered for the clean-up.
