KAISERLAUTERN, Germany - Spc. Kadarius English, a Signal Support Systems Specialist with the 212th Combat Support Hospital, 30th Medical Brigade and a native of Atlanta, Ga., is this week's 21st Theater Sustainment Command Warrior of the Week.

Q: How long have you been doing your job?
A: I've been in this job for two years and two months.
Q: What are your goals?
A: I hope to become the first Signal Sergeant Major of the Army.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy music, traveling and working on my car, that I call Chloe.
Q: What do you like most about the Army?
A: I enjoy being around other Soldiers--there’s nothing like it!
Q: Describe your military career.
A: My military career has just started, but it has the potential to reach as far as I can dream. I work with technology, and I love it. I feel that I play an important part in my unit’s success, and the things I learn daily will set me up for future success.
Q: What do you like most about being stationed in Germany?
A: The best parts of being in Germany are the traveling, the friends I have made and my freedom!
Q: What is your favorite movie genre?
A: I enjoy action and comedy movies.
Q: What are you most proud of?
A: I am most proud of myself. My progression as a person, Soldier and growing man is tremendous. I am proud of my decision to become a Soldier, and I think I chose the best route for me and my life.
Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?
A: I would want to have pictures of my family, my journal and the necklace that my grandmother gave me.
Q: Name someone who has influenced or inspired you during your military career and explain why.
A: Master Sgt. Thomas, my first NCOIC in Korea, has inspired me. I loved his leading methods and his passion for Soldiers. Being around him every day for about six months gave me the assurance that the military will be a lifetime commitment for me.
Q: If you could meet one individual, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
A: I would like to meet Will Smith or Kevin Hart. I think I am a funny guy (well I make myself laugh), so that counts for something. They have inspired my personality. I love to joke and have fun, and I think it would be a great time if we all got in a room together.
