NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - Two Western New York congressmen were on hand to witness a military Oath of Enlistment given to several young individuals here, Aug. 25.
Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) and Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) were on base for a tour of the Buffalo Military Entrance Processing Station, a major tenant organization on the NFARS. The Buffalo MEPS has enlistment responsibility for 3 counties in Pennsylvania and 11 counties in New York.
Thousands of our future military members come through the gate of Niagara Falls ARS each year to complete the many levels of processing that MEPS provides; ASVAB test administration, medical processing, enlistments, and shipments.
After their enlistment oath these military service trainees will now journey to their respective basic training sites.
