    SEMBACH, Germany - Private 1st Class Chelcea Dingemanse, a training room specialist with Headquarters & Headquarters Company (HHC), 30th Medical Brigade, and a native of Manti, Utah is this week's 21st Theater Sustainment Command Warrior of the Week.

    Questions and Answers

    Q: How long have you been doing your job?

    A: I've been here 10 months.

    Q: What are your goals?

    A: I would like to become a Civil Affairs Special Operations Combat Medic to a Physician Assistant. I hope to retire from the Army after 20+ years of distinguished service and plan to live on a personally-owned horse ranch where I can barrel race professionally and invest in real estate.

    Q: What are your hobbies?

    A: I enjoy horse riding, traveling and reading.

    Q: What do you like most about the Army?

    A: The Army gives me opportunities to learn, travel and better the world.

    Q: What would you change about the military service life?

    A: I would like the ability to carry weapons on post, more responsible spending of military funds, a change in regulations that seem to discriminate due to rank and education, better regulation and management of unprofessional soldiers and officers, and more opportunities to gain and improve military occupational specialty skills.

    Q: Describe your military career.

    A: I graduated basic training from Fort Leonard in May 2014 and then completed Advanced Individual Training at Joint Base San Antonio in September 2014. I currently work as training room specialist for Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 30th Medical Brigade.

    Q: What do you like most about being stationed in Germany?

    A: I love the opportunities for travel and am able to visit family in The Netherlands.

    Q: What is your favorite movie genre?

    A: I enjoy action movies (specifically James Bond films).

    Q: What are you most proud of?

    A: I am most proud that I am consistently accomplishing goals in my life despite adversity and obstacles.

    Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?

    A: I would want a pair of cowboy boots, my cowboy hat and a photo album.

    Q: Name someone who has influenced or inspired you during your military career and explain why.

    A: Sgt. 1st Class Natalie Spencer has inspired me. She embodies the type of soldier I want to become and has mentored me on career goals and navigating the military as a female.

    Q: If you could meet one individual, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

    A: I would like to meet Anne Boleyn to see the type of person she was. I want to get her perspectives on navigating court, managing ambition, handling men, strategies for life, and personal drive and ambition. She changed history and had the grit and strength to accomplish that despite her ignominious end.
