    Questions for Warrior

Q: How long have you been doing your job?

A: I have been a fueler for all three years that I have been in the Army.

    Q: What are your goals?

A: I would like to start my own business after I transition out of the military. I would like to work with trucks and cars, using a lot of what I learned during my time in the Army.

    Q: What are your hobbies?

    A: Anything involving cars.

Q: What do you like most about the Army?

A: The best part about the Army is the camaraderie that I have built with my fellow Soldiers. We have the opportunity to learn our jobs together all over Europe, and that is really cool.

Q: What would you change about the military service life?

A: I would like to see more opportunities to go to school and specialized training.

    Q: Describe your military career.

A: My military career is all about training - learning my own job, learning other jobs and gaining all sorts of skills that I can use in or out of the Army.

Q: What do you like most about being stationed in Germany?

A: I love having the opportunity to travel for fun and for my job. It is really awesome to be able to work with other countries’ militaries for missions.

Q: What is your favorite movie genre?

A: I enjoy military and war movies. I didn’t enjoy them much until I joined the Army, but now I like to watch and critique the ways that Hollywood portrays military life.

Q: What are you most proud of?

A: I am most proud of joining the Army. I am really proud to be able to say that I serve my country. I am the first in my family to join the military, and that makes not only my family proud, but also me.

Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?

A: I would want my dog, Marley, as the first thing. Second, I would like an iPod with a battery that never dies because I love music. And last, I would take an umbrella-- not for shade, but because if I am going to be stuck on a deserted island, at least I can make a vacation of it!

Q: Name someone who has influenced or inspired you during your military career and explain why.

A: First Sgt. Chris Cooke, the former first sergeant of 240th QMSC. He knew how to motivate and inspire us to do better and was very supportive of all of us in the company.

Q: If you could meet one individual, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

A: Franklin D. Roosevelt. He managed to pull the country back together when times were rough, and I bet he would have some advice on where to go from here in the U.S.
