FORT HOOD, Texas – Media are invited to attend the transition and change of command ceremony for the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade Monday, June 22, 2015, at 9 a.m.
The 4th Sustainment Brigade will transition in the 1st Cavalry Division and be designated as the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade. During the ceremony, soldiers of the brigade will don 1st Cavalry Division patch. The ceremony will also feature the change of command from Col. Timothy Luedecking to Col. Chris Colavita.
Media interested in attending the event must meet the 1st Cavalry Division Sutainment Brigade Public Affairs officer at the Bernie Beck gate at 8 a.m. Interested media must RSVP to Sgt. 1st Class Chris Bridson at (443) 924-0404 by 5. p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015.
