APRA HARBOR, Guam - The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) arrived in Guam for a scheduled port visit, June 11.
“With all of the hard work and operational stresses this crew experienced in the last few months, I’m happy that my Sailors get to enjoy a little slice of the United States, that is Guam,” said Capt. Kurush F. Morris, commanding officer of Shiloh.
While in Guam, Shiloh Sailors will get to enjoy different moral, welfare, and recreation (MWR) events such as zip lining, golfing, and an Atlantis submarine tour to name a few.
“Guam is a great place for a port call, especially with its rich island culture and substantial naval history,” said Morris.
Shiloh is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
