DECATUR, Ga.— The Atlanta VA Medical Center (VAMC) will host a quarterly Town Hall meeting to address the concerns of local veterans Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Newnan Community Based Outpatient Clininc (CBOC) located at 39-A Oak Hill Court, Newnan, Georgia, 30265.

In an effort to provide listening sessions to better serve veterans and their families, the Atlanta VAMC is expanding its town hall meetings to now include many of its CBOCs each quarter.

“Our top goal will always be to ensure Veterans receive the high quality health that they have earned and deserve,” said Leslie Wiggins, Atlanta VA Medical Center director. “Focusing on our core values — integrity, commitment, advocacy, respect and excellence — will guide our actions toward accomplishing this most important mission.”

Veterans interested in attending the town hall meeting need to RSVP to Janelle Hughley at Janelle.Hughley@va.gov or at (404) 321-6111, extension 2402. Veterans can also ask questions and make comments online on Facebook to be addressed during the town hall at www.facebook.com/AtlantaVAMC. Tours of the Newnan CBOC will follow the presentation and question and answer session. The next veteran town hall will be June 27, 2015 at Atlanta VAMC’s main campus in Decatur, Georgia.
