    3rd Combat Aviation Brigade

HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, Ga. – The command team of Col. John D. Kline, commander, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade and Command Sgt. Maj. George M. Dove, command sergeant major, 3rd CAB joined together with leadership from all of the battalions in the Falcon Brigade to show their commitment to combating sexual harassment and sexual assault by signing a proclamation with the theme “Eliminate sexual assault: Know your part, do your part,” on Hunter Army Airfield April 21.

“As you know April is sexual assault awareness month. We are trying to change the culture in the military and let everyone know that there is just no tolerance for sexual harassment or sexual assault,” Kline said.

The 3rd CAB executive officer, Maj. Ryan Forshee read the proclamation to the crowd of Soldiers gathered in the dining facility and then the commander and command sergeant major signed the document. After signing the proclamation, the commander cut a huge cake to honor the occasion.

Staff Sgt. Queen Murray, brigade victim advocate, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd CAB echoed the message of culture change the commander spoke about and also commented on the campaign the new Sergeant Major of the Army, Daniel A. Dailey is spearheading. Dailey’s campaign is called “Not in my squad. Not in Our Army. We are Trusted Professionals.”

“Every Soldier should be a victim advocate,” Murray said. “We are here to help. I know that everyone in this division cares deeply about this and we are willing to go to any lengths to put a stop to sexual assault.”
