FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. - Air Force ROTC students from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, received a base-wide tour April 17 showcasing Fairchild’s primary air refueling mission as well as a first-hand experience at the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Evasion school.
The tour included stops at the base headquarters for a mission briefing, the Aquatics Center for a water survival demonstration, a KC-135 Stratotanker static display, aerospace physiology for a demonstration, military working dog kennels and the SERE School for a UH-1N Iroquois helicopter static display and shelter, signal and fire facility.
