FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. - The material management flight, located in the “glass house,” maintains supplies of gear to fulfill deployment requirements, training, and equipping fliers and security forces with the protective equipment needed to accomplish their missions.
The glass house is a supply building known for its unique appearance due to its glass block wall sections.
Each month the flight conducts inventories by pulling assets off the shelf and verifying the identity of the asset, the physical quantity and then matching the count in the computer database.
