FORT HOOD, Texas – Rabbit ears, plastic eggs and more than 200 1st Cavalry Division family members filled an open field at the 1st Division Museum to participate in Easter festivities.
Soldiers, families and friends of the 1st Battalion “Chargers,” 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division celebrated the unit’s 2nd Annual Easter Family Day hosted by the Chargers Family Readiness Group March 28 at Fort Hood, Texas.
Parents hyped up their toddlers as they went from activity to activity as older children ran across the grass kicking balls and racing in potato sacks.
Volunteers set up multiple tents, each containing a game or arts and craft station where children of all ages could participate.
