BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan - Ambassador Donald Yamamoto, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of African Affairs, visited several squadrons throughout the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing March 7 at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan.

Throughout the tour, Yamamoto, who served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia from November 2006 to July 2009, received mission briefs from squadron leadership and became more familiar with Air Force assets and personnel here.
