Herculean Effort by EAPS

455th Air Expeditionary Wing   

U.S. Airmen assigned to the 455th Expeditionary Aerial Port Squadron recently worked with civilian contractors to pack and send 19 pallets of perishables to Forward Operating Base Jalabad. In total, they moved 101,054 pounds of food. The perishables had to be delivered within three hours of being removed from the freezer. The highly skilled 455 EAPS Airmen with their quick pace and the hardworking C-130 J Super Hercules with an extended length made this herculean feat possible.
