UNDISCLOSED LOCATIION - D/3-43 ADA, currently deployed to Southwest Asia, sends a unique and special message back home to their friends and Families.

The soldiers of Delta Battery, 3-43 Air Defense Battalion spent many long a grueling hours of writing, production, filming, and post-production editing to send a special holiday message home to their Families and friends.

Currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, the Wardawgs provide persistant coverage against aerial and missile attack utilizing the Patriot Missile System.

The video will be shown to a gathering of Families at Ft. Bliss, Texas in support of the Battalion's Holiday Party. The Wardawgs deployed over a month ago for a year long rotation to the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility.

Primary production responsibility was delegated to 1LT Rutherford, who exceeded all expectations. He came up with the concept for the video, wrote the lyrics, and did all of the filming and editing. CPT Ben Mayhew, Commander of the Wardawgs, had this to say, "I couldn't be more proud of the work that he did. He really captured the spirit of the message and the unit. I know that my Family will really enjoy this video, which is important because this can be a very challenging time of year for Families of deployed solders."

"This video means more than the simple message it contains," said 1SG Jason Harvey. The Battery Executive Officer, 1LT Rich Beard, echoed his sentiment, "It was really important to us to reach home with a personal touch so that we can let our Families know that we are thinking about them and miss them, even though we are far away."

The Wardawgs would like to send their warmest holiday wishes to all their friends and families, no matter where they may be.
