The KU-BDOC, comprised of 39 enlisted soldiers and officers, supported the Area Support Group - Kuwait (ASG-KU) which had the mission of supporting the service members at five camps throughout the country.
In total, KU-BDOC soldiers were assigned to sixteen different sections and played a critical role in supporting approximately 12,000 U.S. service members.

During the deployment, KU-BDOC soldiers contributed to Force Protection efforts, closed two camps that reduced operational costs by $67 million, stood up the first ASG-KU contracting office, reorganized the Operations section, and stood up the first Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) in the region. The KU-BDOC team left Kuwait on Aug 5, 2013 after 266 days in country.

The KU-LSE, with another 12 enlisted soldiers and officers conducted logistics coordination duties at Ali Al Salem Air Base.
