ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - Dozens of Army Reserve soldiers are scheduled to provide support to participants in this weekend’s World’s Toughest Mudder 2013 event at Raceway Park Nov. 16-17 in Englishtown, N.J.
Army Reserve drill sergeants, aviators and other “Citizen-Soldiers” will be on-site to encourage and interact with event participants as they attempt to complete the grueling course as many times as possible within a 24-hour period.
Tough Mudder events are obstacle courses designed to test competitors’ all around strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. Tough Mudder has hosted over one million participants worldwide to date, and raised more than $5 million for the Wounded Warrior Project.
World’s Toughest Mudder is the culminating event of the Tough Mudder calendar. The race will begin Saturday morning around 9 a.m. and finish 24-hours later on Sunday.
