U.S. Army Sgt. Ian Pocklington of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., assigned to 21st Theater Sustainment Command, fires his M4 rifle during U.S. Army Europe's 2013 Best Warrior Competition at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Aug.20. The U.S. Army Europe Best Warrior Competition is a weeklong event that tests Soldiers physical stamina, leadership and technical knowledge and skill. Winners in the Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer categories of the USAREUR competition will go on to compete at the Department of the Army level.
