A tank is one of many military ground vehicles used for sound recording during “Acoustic Week” July 29 – Aug. 15 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The event is a three-week project hosted by the 46th Test Squadron and Project Chicken Little. It is a cost-shared opportunity between the government and customers to collect specific and general sound data from ground and aerial vehicles. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
