A CH-47 Chinook helicopter hovers over a training area at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Aug. 4 while a sling load team from the 390th Seaport Operations Company practices loading both a shipping container and Humvee during the SPOC 13-2 training exercise. For most of the soldiers conducting the training, this was the first time they had ever attached a load to a helicopter outside of a school environment.
