Expeditionary Air Cargo Handlers, assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion (NCHB) 1, load two Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) canisters from a K-loader onto a C-130 training aircraft during Ordnance Exercises at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Cheatham Annex, Aug 6. NCHB1 is the only active duty cargo handling battalion and is a rapidly deployable operating unit of the Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG). NAVELSG is part of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, a global force provider of adaptive force packages with expeditionary capabilities to joint war fighting commanders.
