Transportation Soldiers participating in the Seaport Operations Company 13-2 training exercise move cargo containers onto awaiting vessels Aug. 6 with the help of civilian harbormasters and the Soldiers of the 339th Harbor Master Operations Detachment at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Civilian and military harbormasters located at the port handle ship movements and cargo transfers and act as command-and-control units for all Department of Defense assets operating on the water in this region.
