Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 17, make their way through the nights blowing sand to work locations at a remote combat outpost constructed by NMCB 17. NMCB-17, also known as the "Desert Battalion" homeported at Fort Carson, Colorado, is deployed to Iraq and other areas of operations supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
