    Rct. Marlon Ross, left, 18, and Rct. The recruits were responsible for cataloging and reporting strange occurrences to their drill instructors. The mission of the interior guard is to provide security for a command and to ensure order is maintained, enforce rules and protect property. Recruits patrolled for one hour before being relieved by the next group. Ross is a native of Tallahassee, Fla., and Sease is a native of Bamberg, S.C. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 30, 2013. Approximately 20,000 recruits come to Parris Island annually for the chance to become United States Marines by enduring 13 weeks of rigorous, transformative training.
