Maj. Gen. Robert Abrams, the outgoing commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, “troops the line” with Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson, commanding general of the XVIII Airborne Corps, and Maj. Gen. John Murray, the incoming commander, during the division's change of command ceremony on Fort Stewart Aug. 2. Abrams is now headed to the Pentagon. President Obama nominated him last week to become senior military assistant to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.
