    The premier counterterrorism course helmed by the Department of Defense and the German Ministry of Defense graduated Aug. 2, wrapping up five weeks of study on terrorism its origins and more. At a ceremony held in the center's large plenary, the 68 participants from 41 countries received graduation certificates completing the Program on Terrorism and Security Studies at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. The graduates hailed from Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burundi, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Mauritania, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestinian Authority, Panama, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, the United States and Yemen.
