Karla Lepore, director of Naval Hospital Bremerton (NHB) and commanding officer of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Bremerton, addresses local civic leaders at the East Bremerton Rotary Club meeting, July 15, 2026. The speaking engagement underscores the hospital’s commitment to public outreach and visual transparency regarding military medicine capabilities in the Pacific Northwest. Lepore highlighted current clinical services and answered community health questions. To support local veterans, she also introduced Jeremiah Hickman, NHB’s beneficiary counseling and assistance coordinator, who delivered an update on the TRICARE for Life program and assisted members with benefits navigation.
