U.S. Marines with 1st Marine Division and 1st Marine Logistics Group, instruct Navy Sailors assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command San Diego, on how to triage patients under chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear conditions during Mercy Exercise 26-3 aboard the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS-3) while docked on Naval Base San Diego, California, June 17, 2026. During MERCEX 26-3, U.S. Navy Sailors from the hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH-19) worked alongside U.S. Marines with 1st Marine Logistics Group and 1st Marine Division for the first time to execute critical medical and CBRN decontamination training.
