TACOMA, Wash. – Personnel, families, and guests of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Bremerton gather at the historic Foss Waterway Seaport to celebrate the 128th Hospital Corpsman Birthday Ball, June 27, 2026. The evening’s festivities commenced with opening remarks from NMRTC Bremerton Commanding Officer Capt. Karla M. Lepore, who praised the unwavering dedication, resilience, and lifesaving legacy of the Navy’s most decorated rating. Following a solemn remembrance ceremony honoring those missing in action and prisoners of war, attendees welcomed retired Command Master Chief Frank Dominguez as the night’s guest of honor and keynote speaker. Dominquez shared inspiring reflections on the evolution of the Corps and the enduring bond of camaraderie that defines hospital corpsmen past and present.
