Gen. David Petraeus, the commanding general of Multi-National Force - Iraq, speaks to the owner of a shop selling wedding dresses during his visit to a market in downtown Hawijah, Iraq, June 14. Petraeus asked the owner how business was and he responded that at this time of the year the wedding business was slow due to the heat. This was Petraeus' first visit to the district located in the Kirkuk province of northeastern Iraq during his battlefield circulation of northern Iraq, coinciding with the U.S. Army's 233rd Birthday.
